chocolate orange protein bars
perfect post workout pick me up.
ingredients:
- 150g cashews
- 180g medjoul dates
- 6tbsp raw cocoa powder
- 2tbsp coconut oil
- 4tbsp brown rice protein powder
- 4tbsp manuka honey
- zest of 1 orange
directions:
- place the cashews into blender and blitz for 45 seconds.
- cut the dates in half and remove stones.
- add dates, cocoa powder, coconut oil, brown rice protein powder, manuka honey and orange zest to the blender and blitz for 45 seconds.
- take a bread tin and line with greaseproof paper.
- place the mixture from the blender into the bread tin and press down.
- freeze for 1 hour
- remove from freezer and slice into 1 inch bars.
- enjoy!
