forefoot running
3 reasons why bodyMethodology advocates landing through the forefoot when you run as oppose to heel striking:
- landing through the ball of the foot was how our bodies were designed to move, heel striking is inefficient and eliminates our bodies own shock absorbing system.
- heel striking will slow you down. where as forefoot running will allow you to run at your body’s optimal potential.
- forefoot running will protect your foot, achilles tendons, knees and lower back. allowing you to run for longer, niggle free & until you are a ripe old age without destroying the body.
